Opening this up.

Thought this was a great day. the rain held off & things warmed up quite nicely as the day progressed. A big thanks goes out to those that volunteered to do the food prep & those who brought foodstuffs out. Total attendance was nearly 40 & overall things went pretty smoothly all things considered.

How did everyone feel about the new gametypes? First was Blue's Balloons & then immediately Operation: BathTimeFun. Anyone have any comments to make or tweaks to attempt? Does everyone want to add these to the regular games roster?

I have some pics that'll go up within the next couple days.

EDIT: thanks to MadMax for snagging/bringing a couple of old Satellite dishes for prop use, they'll be put into use before too long.

Had a wonderful time.

Thanks to Carrie our master cook for grilling us some yummy burgers and dogs!! Thanks to all for bringing out food. Miah and I had a wonderful Airsoft Anniversary party!!!

Loved the 2 news games that were played. Blues Balloons and Bath Time Fun. I loved Stealing the Duckies from the other teams Bucket!!!
On the Balloons game the one that was near the spawn point on the Green team was a little difficult to get at. I would move it out a little next time.

Thought the game went great, I know we had a few issues out there but I hope that everyone had as much fun as I did.

Hope to see all of you at the next game.

Court

if anyone happens to find a helmet, us type, it was just a wwii type helmet liner with a camo cover and a net cover over that. my son andy lost it presumably back in the woods area. also lost the mag release out of my new l85, small metal piece. if anyone finds either of these, please cal me @ 913 845 8748, or send me an email to davesgmc4u@yahoo.com. thanks dave thomas

Yesterday was stinkin' great. Big thanks to all who made it out, it allowed for as Red put it "a target-rich environment". I thought the two new games, Op Balloon Death and Op BTF, went really well too. They lasted a long time and people were moving around the entire time. I also thought that for the most part people were doing the right thing, which is really great. I saw new guys calling hits and more experienced people trying help out. There were a few things that should not have happened but hopefully next time it won't be an issue.
Happy anniversary to Court and Miah, may they have many more years of shooting each other in the ass...

Big thanks to Oldguy too for selling me his sweet glock!

A lot of action, a lot of moving and shooting, and awesome weather. The balloon game was pretty fun and Operation: BTF was a blast.

However, we did have some serious issues with players not safety killing, and I had two pretty close incidents that really never should have happened.

1.) Even pistols fall under the safety kill category. It doesn't matter if you're shooting a BB through a straw, you need to call a safety kill when you're 20ft or closer.
2.) If someone surprises you, don't try to shoot them in the face from three feet away. Keep your finger ***OFF*** the trigger until you're ready to consciously engage a target.

We had a great time playing, as a matter of fact we have never had a bad time playing. Weather was great and the games were fun. I just wish I hadn't shot my teams balloon. Thanks again
